Lung cancer in Peru is the fifth malignancy in both sexes. Adenocarcinoma of the lung is the most common histologic type, followed by squamous and small cell lung cancer. The patients with clinical stage T1a,b,c N0 M0 have good 5y free disease survival. all of them with nodules lesss than 10mm are surviving more than 10y. nevertheless when the tumor is more than 20mm some of them died within the 5y, like 15%.
