I am a Consultant Physician with special interest in Diabetes Mellitus. I am Past President of the Malaysian Medical Association & the Penang Medical Practitioners’ Society. I am also serving in the Malaysian Medical Council as an elected member.
I was conferred DSPN by the Governor of Penang in July 2004.
I have published 3 books on medicine for the layman & regularly contributing articles (both medical & non-medical) for local Press, newsletters & magazines.
I am also a fan of country music & music of the 50s & 60s. MY hobbies are playing the guitar, blues harmonica & singing. I used to belong to a music band and we also did recordings of our music. I have one of the best music oldies collections in Malaysia; have contributed to our local radio station by lending my collections. I have been invited to be guest DJ in our National radio station.
I love to read & write. I like photography & have a licentiate in Photography. I love gardening & play Badminton.
