Comment by Jeffrey T Junig MD PhD on October 20, 2011 at 10:21am I really miss the pharma talks, and see that loss as an example of loss of leadership by the groups representing physicians. So who will be presenting the latest news about medications now?
I am on the volunteer faculty at a nearby medical school, and just finished a couple of lectures to classrooms of up to 200 students. The lectures don't pay in dollars, but they 'revitalize' me, which is even more valuable in some ways. My involvement also helps me to maintain my credentials there as Asst Clinical Professor, which helps set me apart from other psychiatrists in the community.
